for the Court of Appeals of Indiana. Since that time, they have handled nearly 100 civil and criminal

Before opening her own firm, Cara was a deputy state public defender, handling post-conviction ("P.C.R") cases. She is also familiar with the parole revocation process and the steps which must be taken to challenge a revocation of one's parole. Cara has represented clients in nearly every county in the state. Civil Asset Forfeiture Matters
Cara has challenged several civil asset forfeitures, sometimes resulting in the return of property to her clients. She is currently involved in a proposed class-action lawsuit regarding the handling of dozens of asset forfeitures that involved hundreds of thousands of dollars.
